ONCE UPON A TIME
Like many tech titans, we also began our journey as a startup in humble garage.

Like many of the worlds largest tech businesses started its life with big ideas and an old garage. Today, we are a leading, global software business holding some of the most respected organisations as our clients.

In 2004, Joe Zielinski, our founder set off on his quest to deliver enterprise digital solutions that would make a difference. 7 years later, he was joined by his close friend, Paul Coverdale, whose passion for service delivery brought a balanced approach to productivity and innovation.

Zinc rapidly grew by implementing mission-critical software applications across government, defence, security, intelligence and blue-chip organisations – all designed to the customer’s specific requirements.

In 2018, Zinc launched their own software product – Zinc Synapse, a highly configurable critical event management platform designed from the ground up to solve the challenges of incident, crisis and organisational resilience. Today, we are proud to protect hundreds of thousands of people and assets, to some of the world’s leading corporate brands and Government organisations across the globe.

We have built a formidable product and reputation, and to top it off along the way we have attracted the best and brightest people to our team, who embrace our culture and ensure that we continue to deliver future ready solutions.
