Our growth strategy to date has been focused on client retention and product development as we have aligned ourselves with our clients so that we are informing their roadmap as well as them informing ours. This collaborative approach has led to a number of awards in partnership and application of new technology. We are able to deliver differentiation to our clients across three key sectors – Government, Corporate and Retail.

Division Overview:

We are known as leading web technology innovators. We have invested many years into developing our own technology platforms and these now power some of the UK’s largest organisations, Government and SME customers.

The technology division has undergone significant growth in recent years and we see this as being a huge area of further expansion for Zinc moving forward. We have a culturally diverse team with a reputation for using innovative, collaborative working practices; operating in a SaaS environment to provide our market leading Synapse product range that assists organisations in gaining actionable insight, optimising decision making, profit protection, reducing response times, and significantly improving communications between staff and stakeholders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Crime Centre as a Crime & Intelligence Triage Analyst based at Zinc Systems’ head office in Northamptonshire.

The Crime Centre is a team of experienced intelligence analysts, who take incident and intelligence reports from our client’s retail stores nationally, carry out investigations to identify links between offenders and crimes, liaising with security teams to coordinate efforts to prevent further offending and where appropriate work closely with police and other external partners to bring offenders to justice.

As a member of the analyst team, you will play an important role in helping to keep our client’s people and customers safe from violence and verbal abuse, as well as supporting the efforts to reduce theft and other crime impacting it. You will collate incoming incident reports, involving theft, fraud, violence or verbal abuse. You will carry out assessments on the information to create intelligence packages and work with security teams, the clients and where appropriate law enforcement partners on the next course of action. You will be encouraged to take part in problem solving with the team and clients, to drive improvements across the crime centre and make their sites a safe place to shop and work.

Zinc Systems’ mission is to help our clients manage disruption smarter and for organisations to harness the power of data-driven technology in driving forward business performance and response to risk. We do this through the power of our software solution suite ‘Synapse’. Visit https://www.zinc.systems/about/.
