Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Executive to work closely with the Head of Marketing on content creation, brand consistency, and digital presence across Zinc Systems.

This is a delivery-focused role for someone who is confident running day-to-day marketing activity, from writing and publishing content and maintaining our website, to producing branded assets that elevate our look and feel across the business.

You’ll be responsible for turning brand direction into practical, high-quality outputs and supporting the development and execution of our social media strategy.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Content & Editorial

  • Curate and create compelling content aligned to Zinc’s audience (security teams, commercial real estate, public sector stakeholders)
  • Write and edit marketing copy across the website, blogs, case studies, product content, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all channels (clear, confident, credible)
  • Manage a content calendar and ensure regular publication of relevant, timely content

Brand & Design Execution

  • Translate the Zinc brand into usable assets across the company
  • Create high-quality marketing materials using tools such as Canva (and similar)
    • Social media graphics
    • Sales enablement assets
    • Branded templates
    • Simple video content for social use.
  • Maintain brand consistency and raise the visual standard across all outputs
  • Work with external designers when needed (briefing and quality control)

Social Media Planning & Delivery

  • Implement Zinc’s social media plan day-to-day (posting, scheduling, keeping output consistent)
  • Help build and evolve the social media strategy: formats, cadence, themes, content angles
  • Repurpose content into social-ready posts (e.g. turning articles into short-form copy + visuals)
  • Track performance and recommend improvements based on engagement and learnings

Website Management

  • Update and maintain Zinc Systems web pages
  • Improve the quality and clarity of website content with an eye for conversion and engagement
  • Ensure the site stays fresh: new pages, refreshed messaging, product updates, new assets and articles
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and turn them into polished web content

This role suits someone who is experienced, organised, creatively sharp, and able to operate without needing heavy oversight.

About You

Essential

  • Proven experience in a marketing role with strong delivery responsibility
  • Strong content skills: writing, editing, repurposing for different audiences
  • Experience maintaining and updating websites (WordPress or similar CMS required)
  • A clear design eye, able to produce clean, polished assets independently
  • Confidence using tools such as Canva, with high standards for layout and branding
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple workstreams (content, web, socials)
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative and “get it done” mindset

Desirable

  • Experience marketing into security, resilience, infrastructure, property/CRE, or government-adjacent sectors
  • Basic understanding of SEO & LLM best practices and content optimisation
  • Familiarity with analytics reporting and performance tracking
  • Experience supporting campaign work and product marketing initiatives
  • Experience producing both static and video content for social and digital use.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot
