This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of the software, services, applications,
APIs, and related infrastructure (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Zinc Systems (the
“Company” or “Zinc”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy. Failure to comply may
result in suspension or termination of access to the Services


1. Purpose

This Policy is designed to ensure that the Services are used in a lawful, secure, and responsible
manner that protects:

  • The integrity of the platform
  • The security of users and systems
  • The rights of third parties
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

2. Permitted Use

Users may access and use the Services solely for legitimate business purposes in accordance
with:

  • The applicable license agreement or service agreement
  • This Acceptable Use Policy
  • All applicable laws and regulations

3. Prohibited Activities

Client users must not use the Services to engage in, promote, or facilitate any of the following
activities.

3.1 Illegal Activities

Using the Services for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Violating local, national, or international laws
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Unauthorised financial transactions
  • Distribution of illegal content

3.2 Security Violations

Users must not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Services or related
systems. Prohibited activities include:

  • Unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Circumventing authentication or security controls
  • Network probing, scanning, or penetration attempts without authorisation
  • Introducing malware, viruses, worms, or other malicious code
  • Exploiting software vulnerabilities

3.3 Interference with Service Operation

Users may not interfere with the normal operation of the Services, including:

  • Conducting denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
  • Excessive automated requests that degrade system performance
  • Attempting to overload infrastructure
  • Circumventing rate limits or quotas

3.4 Abuse of Platform Functionality

Users must not misuse the Services in ways that violate the intended purpose of the platform,
including:

  • Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code where prohibited
  • Using the Services to develop a competing product
  • Reselling or sublicensing access without authorisation
  • Bypassing usage restrictions or licensing controls

3.5 Harmful or Abusive Content

Users must not store, transmit, or distribute content that:

  • Is defamatory, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Promotes violence or discrimination
  • Contains sexually explicit material where not permitted
  • Infringes intellectual property rights

3.6 Data Misuse

Users must not misuse personal or sensitive information through the Services, including:

  • Collecting or harvesting personal data without consent
  • Processing personal data in violation of privacy laws
  • Uploading sensitive data without appropriate authorisation

4. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Where the Services allow integration with third-party systems or services, users must ensure
that:

  • All integrations comply with this Policy
  • Appropriate permissions and legal rights exist for any data processed
  • No unauthorised automated data extraction occurs

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

Zinc reserves the right to:

  • Monitor usage of the Services to ensure compliance
  • Investigate suspected violations
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Policy
  • Remove or restrict access to prohibited content
  • Report unlawful activities to appropriate authorities

Monitoring will be conducted in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

7. Non Compliance

Violations of this Policy may result in one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning or request to cease prohibited activity
  • Temporary suspension of service access
  • Permanent termination of accounts
  • Legal action where appropriate
