Maven Capital Partners (“Maven”), one of the UK’s most active investors in growing businesses, has today announced that the Maven VCTs have invested an undisclosed amount in Zinc Digital Business Solutions Limited (“Zinc Systems” or “Zinc”) to support its continued growth.
Northamptonshire based Zinc is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solutions provider, specialising in safety, security and critical event management. Its products help organisations to optimise decision making, mitigate risk and streamline business processes. The business delivers its services to a range of public sector agencies including the City of London Police as well as blue-chip client base which includes Amazon Studios, Kingfisher and Allied Universal.
Today’s funding will enable Zinc to expand its sales and marketing teams as well as invest in further product development, which includes the launch of its innovative new SaaS product, “SYNAPSE”, which is be a global incident and threat intelligence platform used by major organisation across the world.
The global incident and emergency management market is growing at a compound annual growth rate of 6.7% and is expected to be worth $171.8 billion by 2026 (Source: MarketsandMarkets, 2021). This growth is being driven by an increasing demand for crisis, emergency and incident management platforms like Zinc’s as businesses seek improved safety and security solutions against a background of increasing concern and regulation regarding the management of natural and manmade threats.
